Clinic Guidelines

Consultations are by appointment.

Appointment times may vary depending on the type of appointment required. Mental health, care plan, Driver licence medical, Skin check, childhood vaccination, Travel vaccination, cervical screening all require longer appointment times to be booked. We have a 72-hour business day cancellation policy, if you cancel your appointment within this timeframe, you will be required to pay the full cost of the appointment.

​gpbondi is a private billing practice committed to providing high-quality health care to all members of the community. Billing takes into account both the time spent and the complexity of the consultation with each patient.

For more information about fees, please speak to our reception team. 

Fees are payable at the time of consultation by EFTPOS or credit card. We do not accept American Express.

When booking a new consultation with one of our tenanted doctors, there will be a 50% deposit taken at the time of booking. This will go towards the appointment cost on the day. Please note: if you fail to attend the appointment or if cancellation occurs within 72 hours of the appointment time, this deposit will not be refunded

If you require medical care after hours, please phone Sydney Medical Service on 1300 Home GP or 8724 6300. In emergencies, ring 000 for an ambulance.

Test results cannot be given over the telephone. As test results are an essential part of your medical care and may need an explanation, please make an appointment to see your doctor.

Medical certificates are legal documents and are only permitted if you present for consultation with a doctor with a valid reason for work absence. We cannot issue certificates retrospectively.

​Your GP at gpbondi is a specialist in complete patient care. Your GP is qualified to determine, in collaboration with you, whether you need to see a non-GP specialist , and which type of specialist would best meet your health needs. For this reason, you must make an appointment to see your GP for any referral to a to non-GP specialist. Please note that we are not permitted by law to back-date specialist referrals, so please ensure that you have a current referral before you see the specialist.

The reminder system is an integral part of your care .
